During July and August, our contractor Downer will start preparatory work along Garnet Road, Old Mill Road, Surrey Crescent, and Richmond Road.

Over a period of around four weeks, three-metre long trenches will be excavated at intervals along the route, then filled in once the location of underground services is confirmed. This work prevents subsequent problems and delays during construction.

Main construction is planned for late 2022.
