Western line - Temporary timetable Temporary Timetable

In preparation for the opening of the City Rail Link (CRL), a significant amount of critical rail infrastructure and testing and commissioning work is underway to ensure a more efficient and reliable passenger rail network for Aucklanders – alongside supporting the increase in frequency the CRL will provide.   

Due to CRL tunnel and platform works at Maungawhau Station, from Monday 14 October to Friday 25 October, there will be a temporary timetable change for Western Line customers whilst trains run on a single line.  

Normal timetables will resume Monday, 28 October.  

Please check Journey Planner before you start your journey, as service times that trains arrival and departure times from Western Line stations will change during this period.
