AT provides facilities to secure your bike while you're out cycling around Auckland. Bikes can be taken free of charge onto trains and ferries.
Bike parking in Auckland
Bikes are not permitted on any of Auckland's bus services, unless it can be folded-up, and carried by the rider.
AT has options for cyclists; the majority of public transport stations, terminals and interchanges have some form of bike parking, including bike racks, parks or enclosures to link with public transport. The type of facility is different at each station.
Petrol driven motorbikes and scooters cannot be parked in any bike/cycle park.
For more information, refer to our Bikes & public transport page.
