Bus detours and stop closures

Some buses will be detoured as there are road closures on Queen Street, Wakefield Street, Airedale Street, Rutland Street and Lorne Street. Buses will not stop at the following bus stops:

The Downtown Ferry Terminal is close to Waitematā Station (Britomart) and various bus stops for easy connections to take a bus or a train to the Aotea Square.

The Aotea Square is located in the Auckland city centre, a 15-minute walk from Britomart station.

Please note bike valet is not available for this event.

Road closures and parking restrictions will be in place during this event. Expect delays in Auckland City Centre, including entering and leaving parking buildings.

AT would like to encourage all Aucklanders to consider taking public transport to and from Diwali events, to avoid traffic congestion and long wait times leaving the city.
