You can buy an AT HOP card online or in person. 

• Purchase price: $5 (non-refundable)
• Online: $10 (including $5 credit)
• In person: $5 (with minimum $1 top-up at time of purchase)
• Vending machine: $25 (including $20 credit)

Please note that AT HOP key tags are no longer available for purchase.

Please note that you can only buy a gold AT HOP card in person.

Find a HOP retailer near you to buy an AT HOP card or gold AT HOP card in person.

You can also buy HOP cards from vending machines at:

• Auckland Airport, domestic and international terminals
• Downtown ferry terminal
• Devonport ferry terminal.

Eligible seniors with a SuperGold card need to buy a gold AT HOP card to travel on public transport at discounted rates. 

Please note that you can only buy a gold AT HOP card in person.
