The Auckland Harbourmasters Office has recently started using the Vodafone Multi-text service as a form of contact with our mooring owners. This will be used in conjunction with our other methods of contact such as email, phone and post.

How Harbourmaster contacts mooring owners

The Vodafone Multi-text service gives us the ability to send text messages to a group of contacts in our database from any web browser. 

You can expect to receive messages from the Harbourmaster office for several updates: 

  • General information about moorings 
  • Duty officers requesting further information
  • Mooring termination 
  • Overdue mooring fees
  • Overdue mooring inspection
