Consider more off-street parking on Taylor Street

Some parts of Taylor Street already have no stopping at all times lines. We wish to keep 58 to 86 unrestricted as on-street parking is a valuable and finite public asset. We need to balance the needs of local residents, visitors, and businesses. Taylor Street is a wide road that allows for parking on both sides of the road whilst allowing two-way traffic flow.

Consider extending the No Stopping at All Times through all of Taylor Street

On-street parking is a valuable and finite public asset. We apply parking controls in areas subject to high levels of on-street parking that balance the needs of local residents, visitors and businesses ahead of the needs of commuters from neighbouring areas.

We're proposing improvements in your area

We’ve received many requests for changes to be made to parking space near 67 Taylor Street in Blockhouse Bay, due to high demand.

What we're proposing:

Time limits of 60 minutes will apply to three spaces, 7 days a week, from 8am-6pm. A drawing showing the proposed changes has been sent with this letter.
